Bank of America gives “big” support to St. Francis House on Giving Tuesday
On November 29, #GivingTuesday, some employees from Bank of America gathered in our 6th floor conference room to present a $15,000 check to St. Francis House and our President, Karen LaFrazia. The “big check” (literally) represented a grant award by the Bank for the programs and services at St. Francis House, including basic needs and hunger relief. We are thrilled to spotlight their generous contribution.
Good neighbors get Involved
Being the good neighbors they are, Bank of America sent volunteers into our kitchen to serve St. Francis House guests. Not only did the team offer crucial financial support, they stepped up and chopped, prepped and served our guests in need – and looked terrific doing it.
We are thankful to the Bank of America for their continued support. Bank of America is committed to improving financial literacy and financial habits. They help people manage their financial lives by supporting services, programs and partners.
If your company is interested in volunteering (or giving us a large check, literally) then contact Sharon Lee, Engagement and Special Events Supervisor, or Danielle Wilkes, Corporate Engagement Officer.
