The Sullivan Family Moving Ahead Program and Next Step Supportive Housing Program both will continue to receive funding from the US Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) in conjunction with the City of Boston.
Recently, the Boston Globe had an article noting The Boston organizations receiving grant money include the Pine Street Inn, Saint Francis House, Metropolitan Boston Housing Partnership Inc., and Victory Programs Inc.
Because of this funding, St. Francis House can continue to offer employment and housing services to guests in need, helping individuals discover and establish pathways to stability.
Our Sullivan Family Moving Ahead Program is a 14-week job- and life-skills training program that helps students learn to identify, pursue, and succeed in careers that match their abilities, skills, and work values. The Sullivan Family Moving Ahead Program has operated for over 20 years, graduating more than 1,500 homeless and underserved individuals.
Guests always say that housing is their number one need. Right here at St. Francis House our Next Step Supportive Housing Program spans four floors of single-occupancy rooms for 56 low-income men and women who have experienced homelessness, unemployment, and substance abuse.
