Building Impact in Partnership with Globoforce Supports St. Francis House with Wellness Kits

With the influx of guests coming to St. Francis House for shelter from the freezing cold temperatures, our supply demand has also increased. This has inspired many of our corporate partners to lend extra support to St. Francis House. One of our partners, Building Impact , works with corporations and non-profits to align service opportunities where both organizations benefit. St. Francis House is fortunate to be a non-profit partner of Building Impact, and a recipient of the generous donations from corporate partners Building Impact works with.

Donations Support Basic Services for our Guests

In partnership with Globoforce, Building Impact provided over 300 wellness kits, which included daily necessities like shampoo, deodorant, and chapstick to our guests. They also provided much needed scarves to help keep our guests warm. These items which most of us take for granted on a daily basis make a huge difference for our guests who may otherwise go without.

Building Impact Partnership & How You Can Help

Our partnership with Building Impact began in the summer, when they sent a number of companies from the tech industry to St. Francis House to volunteer, as a part of Tech Gives Back day, in partnership with TUGG. With Building Impact as our partner, the annual day of service brought a number of new potential corporate partners to St. Francis House to volunteer. Many of those organizations were so inspired by their time here, that they continued to come back to volunteer beyond that day of service.

These long term partnerships are what we strive for. If your company is interested in learning about the opportunities to support the St. Francis House mission through corporate engagement, contact Meryl Pinette at 617-457-1020.
