St. Francis House is located in the heart of downtown Boston on Boylston Street, between Tremont and Washington Streets, across from the China Trade Center.

Public Transportation

St. Francis House is easily accessible by T, located between the Green Line Boylston stop and the Orange Line Chinatown stop.


Street parking is not available within the immediate vicinity, but parking lots and garages are plentiful within a short walk. The Millennium Place Garage at 47 Boylston Street is right next door.


From the South Shore: Take I-93 North to exit 20 toward I-90. Take the Frontage Road exit on the left towards South Station. Turn slight right onto New Frontage Road North/Frontage Road. Turn left onto East Berkeley Street. Turn right onto Harrison Avenue. Turn left onto Herald Street. Turn right onto Washington Street. Turn left onto Stuart Street. Turn right onto Charles Street. Turn right on Boylston Street.

From the North: Take I-93 South to the Storrow Drive exit. Bear left on the long exit ramp to get onto Storrow Drive. Take the second left exit for Arlington Street. At the traffic light at the end of the ramp, turn left onto Beacon Street and then immediately right onto Arlington Street. At the end of the Boston Garden, turn left on Boylston Street.

From the West: Take I-90 (the Massachusetts Turnpike) East towards Boston. Take exit 22, for Prudential/Copley, heading right towards Copley Square when the ramp forks. Turn left at the first traffic light onto Dartmouth Street. Turn right on Boylston Street.
