Thanks to John Hancock’s Marathon Non-Profit Program, St. Francis House is honored to be a part of the historic Boston Marathon® with a team of incredible individuals running in support of our organization each year.
We are thrilled to be among the organizations selected by John Hancock to participate in their Non-Profit Marathon program. We have been awarded six in-person bib entries into the historic 125th Boston Marathon.
You’ve heard: the Boston Marathon was originally postponed until September, and unfortunately, we weren’t able to host our annual Race to the Finish Line fundraiser party as planned.
Since St. Francis House relies on our events every year to fund our life-saving programs and services and waiting until September for these critical funds is just not an option… we had to get creative and took thinks virtual!
Thank you to all of you who helped us surpass our goal of $3,000 on April 20, 2020!

Thanks to our generous sponsors:
On April 10, 2019 over 75 St. Francis House supporters gathered at Joe’s American Bar and Grill on the Waterfront to celebrate and raise funds for our 5 Boston Marathon runners – Team St. Francis House. The event was part of the St. Francis House’s marathon campaign to raise $85,000 for our programs and services. Race to the Finish Line was organized and staffed by the Emerging Leaders of St. Francis House, our young professionals group and generously sponsored by our friends at Webster Bank.
