On Tuesday, a group of senior leaders from the Technology and Global Services branch at Fidelity Investments took time to volunteer at St. Francis House.
Led by St. Francis House Board Member Stephen Neff, Head of Technology and Global Services at Fidelity, the group helped serve lunch in the kitchen. With their support on our lunch line, St. Francis House was able to serve several hundred hot, nutritious meals today to guests who rely on St. Francis House for lunch.
The volunteers were part of the Fidelity Cares employee program which engaged over 12,000 employees from Fidelity to support non-profits in the community in 2016.
Fidelity and St. Francis House
Fidelity has maintained a special relationship with St. Francis House over the years. Multiple Fidelity executives have shared their time and talents by serving on our Board of Directors. For the past several years, Fidelity has been a proud leadership sponsor of our annual All The Way Home dinner.
Technology based support
In addition, Fidelity has undertaken several technology projects supporting St. Francis House through Common Impact, a non-profit organization that helps to foster skills based volunteering projects. The IT project with St. Francis House in 2011 included over 200 hours of volunteer service.
Thank you Fidelity Investments for continued support and leadership at St. Francis House.
