On Tuesday, February 7, 2017 St. Francis House will be hosting an Advocacy Breakfast at the State House from 9:30-11:00AM in Nurses Hall, sponsored by Representative Aaron Michlewitz.
This event is a chance for our State Senators and Representatives to learn more about the ways St. Francis House helps people regain their dignity and rebuild their lives, with a special focus on the Sullivan Family Moving Ahead Program. The breakfast program will highlight the importance of state funding to support our Moving Ahead Program, which enrolls 140 students each year to rebuild and transform their lives.
We invite you to join us at the State House!
Your presence will demonstrate your support for St. Francis House. If you are unable to attend, you can still be involved!
Invite your elected official too
Regardless of whether or not you can attend, please contact your legislator and ask them to attend too. Let them know that you are a supporter of St. Francis House and you can personally attest to the need and good work of St. Francis House.
At this informational breakfast, our Senators and Representatives will have the opportunity to meet some of our former guests, as well as members of our Board, and to hear about the innovative and creative ways St. Francis House is helping people end their experience of homelessness.
