LogMeIn marks Hunger & Homelessness Awareness Week

LogMeIn hosts partner organizations for  National Hunger & Homelessness Awareness Week

St. Francis House was invited to LogMeIn’s corporate headquarters this week, for a special event held to promote organizations that focus on providing food and shelter to those in need.

In honor of Hunger & Homelessness Awareness Week, LogMeIn turned their monthly “Thirsty Thursday” social event into an opportunity to showcase and advocate for participation with organizations who are battling the issues of homelessness and hunger. St. Francis House and The Greater Boston Food Bank (one of our largest food providers) connected with employees at LogMeIn to discuss the increasing need for community support to help combat these issues.

LogMeIn is no stranger to St. Francis House.

Since becoming involved with our organization in May, they’ve been volunteering in our kitchen and clothing department at least once a month. For a three month stint over the summer, LogMeIn’s café also collected donations on behalf of St. Francis House. Their commitment to our work and advocacy of our mission has led to the start of a great corporate partnership.

Thanks to LogMeIn for your continued support! We’re looking forward to hosting your next volunteer group on November 30th!
