St. Francis House hosts City of Boston Housing Surge initiative

City of Boston Housing Surge

St. Francis House hosted a housing surge. This event helped chronically homeless individuals complete all the documentation and application processes needed to move closer to permanent supportive housing. This event was an invaluable opportunity for the 51 participating to make significant progress on their housing applications.

“Action Plan to End Veteran and Chronic Homelessness in Boston”

This event was part of Mayor Walsh’s ongoing “Action Plan to End Veteran and Chronic Homelessness in Boston”. Hosted at St. Francis House, partnership agencies included the Boston Housing Authority, Boston Public Health Commission, and several homeless individual service providers.
