Webster Bank has committed to support Team St. Francis House at the $2,500 level!

In addition to this financial support, Webster Bank is gearing up for a shoe collection drive in several of their branches in the Downtown Crossing area with the goal of collecting at least 100 pairs of shoes to donate to homeless guests at St. Francis House.

Haley Smith of Webster Bank’s Downtown Crossing Summer Street branch noted,  “when I visited St. Francis House and saw all the programs they provide, I knew it was a great fit for Webster Bank.  The services they provide are helping people right in our neighborhood and we want to be a part of it.”

Accordingly, bank employees will also volunteer their time and efforts at St. Francis House during the upcoming month of April.

Employee engagement

Not only is Webster Bank giving back as a company, but they are engaging on an individual level. Employees are encouraged to attend our Race to the Finish Line event in support of Team St. Francis runners on April 12 at Joe’s American Bar and Grille. A few days later, bank employees will be cheering on our runners during the Marathon with rallying signs of encouragement!

Thank you to Webster Bank for putting your money where your mouth is in terms of building community.
