Annual Thanksgiving Celebration at St. Francis House

St. Francis House’s annual Thanksgiving celebration was filled with gratitude, community, and a whole lot of heart! Guests, staff, and volunteers came together to share a warm holiday meal, building meaningful connections and spreading joy.

We extend a heartfelt thank you to Mayor Michelle Wu and City Councilor Ed Flynn for joining us, and for their spirited participation in the annual turkey carving contest. A huge shoutout to the Boston Bruins for their generous donation of delicious pies and to the New England Patriots players, including quarterbacks Jacoby Brissett and Drake Maye, who helped serve meals to St. Francis House guests.

Even with limited space this year due to the renovation, staff worked their magic to ensure we could still serve over 350 individuals.

The Boston Herald highlighted our efforts to provide a warm and welcoming holiday to our guests, and CBS News showcased the help we received from the Patriots’ serving meals, including brief interviews with Jacoby and Mayor Wu. These stories help shine a light on the importance of community support and the incredible efforts of our staff and volunteers.
