Run the 2026 Boston Marathon® with Team St. Francis House
Join us for the 2026 Boston Marathon on April 20th, 2026!
Runners will raise funds to help St. Francis House provide critical services to more than 500 individuals experiencing homelessness each day. As New England’s largest day shelter, we offer not only food, clothing, and shelter, but also recovery, housing, and employment services that create real pathways out of poverty. By running for St. Francis House, you’ll be fueling hope and transformation for thousands of our Boston neighbors.
If you are interested in applying, you must be able to meet the following criteria:
For runners in need of an entry/bib into the race:
- If selected on our team, you must pay a $100 team fee upon acceptance to secure your spot. This does not apply to your fundraising commitment.
- Commit to raising $15,000 minimum.
- Pay a $375 race entry fee to the Boston Athletic Association in January.
For runners with their own race entry bib either Qualified or invitational:
- If selected on our team, pay a $100 team fee. This does not apply to your fundraising commitment.
- Commit to raising $2,000.
Benefits of joining Team St. Francis House
Charity runners in need of a bib as well as registered qualified runners with their own bib are welcome to apply to our team.

Officially qualified participants who are already entered in the 130th Boston Marathon that wish to raise funds for St. Francis House may still do so by visiting our website.
