June brought a flurry of activity — and a few extra challenges — but each step brings us closer to quieter, cleaner spaces and improved experiences throughout the building. As we move into July, we’re excited to see these transformations take shape.
Over the weekend of June 7th-8th, our 39 Boylston Street building was closed to accommodate lobby floor work. The newly finished floor is set to be installed in July! Additionally, demolition in the former kitchen area and construction throughout the ground floor continues.
On Tuesday, June 10th, nine new shower stalls were delivered, and the next phase of work on the front entrance kicked off — this included additional demo, new wall construction, and framing in preparation for new door installation. By mid-June, the old lobby doors were completely removed, with full re-framing and installation expected by early July.
And another milestone: construction is officially underway on our new central stairwell! More updates to come as we continue moving forward.
