I am thrilled and honored to join the development team at St. Francis House as the new Director of the Annual Fund. I will be leading the strategy and implementation of the organization’s annual giving program and overseeing development operations, marketing and communications, and events. With over 15 years of fundraising experience with nonprofit organizations in Boston, I can honestly say annual fund donors have always been one of my favorite groups to work with. I am excited to get to know the loyal donors who support our mission year in and year out.
During the darkest days of the pandemic, I would see food lines in my neighborhood while out walking my dog. This was shocking for me as this was not some far off place, these were my neighbors who worked in hotels, for the airlines, in restaurants whose future was so suddenly uncertain. Economic vulnerability is a reality for so many. Mental health care and addiction services, which are always so underfunded. I am humbled to commit myself personally and professionally to making a difference for those in our community who need it most. I look forward to sharing the stories of the amazing work that happens 365 days a year at St. Francis House and show the impact of the generosity of our donors to help our guests rebuild their lives.
