Last Friday, we celebrated the culmination of hard work, perseverance, and determination at the graduation ceremony of our 211th Moving Ahead Program (MAP) class. The event was a testament to these graduates’ hard work, highlighting the power of education, resilience, and community support in transforming lives. Graduates proudly received their certificates, symbolizing the completion of their journey through MAP and the beginning of a new chapter in their lives.
The Moving Ahead Program (MAP) is more than just a class; it’s a comprehensive program designed to empower our guests who face economic hardships and barriers to employment. Through a combination of education, skill-building workshops, and personalized support, MAP equips participants with the tools and resources they need to overcome achieve their career goals. Students engage in a range of activities, including resume writing, job search strategies, interview preparation, financial literacy workshops, and more. At the heart of MAP is a commitment to holistic support, recognizing that success extends beyond securing employment. Graduates emerge not only with job-ready skills but also with increased confidence, resilience, and a sense of belonging.
